Once again classic American sportswear at it’s best. Designer Tommy Hilfiger was inspired by the relaxed glamour of a southern California boardwalk. Each piece was wearable chic. There were freshly tailored jackets, feather weight jerseys and silks, loose pants and billowy tops. Fabrics also range from twills, canvas, cotton and leather. The color palette was natural with shades of blue, pink, peach, as well as his signature nautical stripes. There was definitely some thing for every woman and man, as both sex walked the runway. For the menswear, there was a departure from the traditional preppy style. There were single and double breasted suits. Shorts worn with boots, and shirts were more open and free. Over all his collection was great, and definitely something to look forward for in the spring.
